Happy
Holidays!
What
a great annual holiday dinner meeting we had last Saturday.
Thank
you to all that came out, drove so far, braved the traffic, found parking, bore
the wet weather, a parade and still made it!
It
would not have been a great night if it hadn't been for everyone plus the extra
people that showed up.
Congratulations
to our award / certificate recipients, it's recognition you deserve. Please hang your certificates with pride.
Also
- congratulations to all of the raffle drawing winners!
2012 Christmas Party
It was a SELL-OUT! Thanks to everyone who made this year’s
dinner meeting a huge success and braved the cold wet weather. We had to
navigate around a parade, in the dark and finally find parking. It was almost like a trip to OSH KOSH.

Treasurer Jerry Sorrell received a well deserved award for his efforts in all aspects of working on the club. From Technical counseling, Financial business, work on our non-profit status, flight leader and daily care of our club house. Jerry Sorrell does it all. Thanks Jerry for your continued support of our club!
Our “Unsung” hero award went to Judy Sorrell for her hard work each club meeting. Not only does she have to keep Jerry (above) inline she makes sure everything is in order at the clubhouse. She’s quite the co-pilot as well on fly-outs. Thanks for everything Judy. We all love you.
Lower left -President Mark Cattell receives the “Top Gun” award for his hard work this past year on Tech counseling excellence and leading our club to major milestones. Keep up the great work Mark!
George, using his usual outstanding
talents, created these magnificent framed awards to present. Unfortunately he conveniently missed one of
the most well deserved awards, insisting that it wasn’t necessary. This award was the “Press Corp” award for
doing such an outstanding job on the club newsletter. As result the club has been recognized
several times nationally in the EAA Chaptergram. George’s YouTube Young Eagle videos featuring
our club have also had thousands of views.
A big Kudos to George for all the work he has done all year long to put
our club on the map! – Mark Cattell
